I worked on giant Lou, the highlights and some minor shading. Emi worked on giant Lou, the shading and the fire. And all of us drew a few muds each. 💜

[Zeke has been getting better at handling the heat of my outdoor stove! I don't blame him for needing to get used to it, those things get hellish in the Summer. I guess it's a good thing I'm holding off on teaching him how to use my wok burner, but I'm certain he will do great! I should probably make sure to tell him that some fires don't ]

"Gotta say, I think Rex has been really enjoying himself at the little get-togethers I've been organizing! He may be a bit of a stick in the muck, but he's been good company. I dare say, Baren might be getting a little jealous... That Vykker really needs to lighten up, maybe if he didn't get such an attitude having to explain the rules of Uno, Rex would be able to understand the point of the card game."

*The muffled sound of a banging on presumably the office doors can be heard, followed by the barely audible voice of said Vykker most likely letting Wayne know he heard the remark.*

🔪- scariest/creepiest experience?

Zeke feels a slight pang of anxiety by the question but calms himself with a palm brushing across his scalp, griting his teeth a bit before speaking. "When I fled from Feeco Depot. I could barely think straight and my heart beat so fast it hurt deeply in my chest. I couldn't stop running and I had to resort to violence towards one slig to escape.. I hated it and I really don't want to do something like that ever again.."

Zeke’s fate was decided before he had even hatched. Noticibly larger than the average labor egg, he was auctioned off between many glukkons for the highest price and rarely stayed in one place for more than three years. Effective at work and asking no questions, Zeke became a highly sought after product with nowhere to call home. Devoted to work and bottlefed with lies, he has no spiritual roots and only knows how to carry, pull and push crates for the daily grind. Currently stationed at Feeco Depot, he hopes to finally belong and find friends to satisfy the decade of yearning for companionship that his upbringing as a valuable trading token gave him none of. Zeke taps a few digits on his chin, smiling a bit with a hum following.

"Well, I liked to rummage through the crates of Feeco Depot whenever I had spare time. It was the discarded, damaged ones with supposed worthless cargo so I never got in trouble for it. I would sometimes salvage food and neat little trinkets that I used to decorate my cell with. I tried to share but the other mudokons didn't really want any. I should say more for me but I like to share..."

Rex lifts an eyebrow before letting out an offended scoff.

"Do you think I want more reasons for the other glukkons to mock me? I only care about my business. I don't have time to waste on inane hobbies! It's a mindset like that that keeps you at the bottom of the foodchain!"

“Fetch me my newspaper! I won’t say it again!” 

Disrespectful little vermin. The glukkon squinted more at the newcomer mudling he had barked the order at for the second time, receiving a snotty leer back before being handed the paper in question. The dissatisfactory performance was greeted with a solid whack across the head by the supervisor slig, making the child yelp but not back down from being defiant.

“Take him away! Maybe another week in isolation oughts to teach him how to treat me with respect I deserve.” 

Rolling his eyes while the mudokon was dragged away kicking, the business man relaxed back in his seat and looked down at the newest issue of The Daily Deception, only for his tangerine eyes to open wide stunned by the headline. ELITE MUDOKON WORKER ESCAPES FEECO DEPOT Shocking underperformance by security Sliggies - Executions planned tommorrow! While the article instructed every mogul to tighten up on their workforce, it was the accompanying mugshot that had caught the glukkon’s attention. That docile smile, the ignorant eyes, the lime skin tone. No doubt about it.

“So that’s where you ended up, Zeke. How the hell did you escape? You were the perfect slave. Perhaps I let you go too soon. You could show these pups how the world works.”
